As an eligible veteran and spouse, you qualify for priority of service and have access to the services and resources available at any of the American Job Center's of California locations.

As an eligible Veteran, you are entitled to receive a Priority of Service which includes:
- As a registered Veteran in CalJOBS you have access to
job orders the first 24 hours before the general public. EDD places
a 24 hour hold on job orders allowing Veterans to learn about
available jobs before the rest of the job seeking public.
- Placement of qualified Veterans' résumés before
non-veterans' résumés on job order screens that are viewed by EDD staff or
- Other services included (but not limited to):
referrals for Veteran issues, outreach to employers through job fairs,
workshops, recruitments, and group or individual career center orientation.
